State Representative Wendell G. Gilliard along with other area leaders, participated in a Civic Leaders Flight Tour to Nellis Air Base, NV in Las Vegas. The leaders joined the 919th Special Operations Wing at Duke Filed, FL on the tour sponsored by the 315th Airlift Wing at the Charleston Air Force Base. The purpose of the tour was to educate community leaders and employers of reservists about the mission of the Air Force Reserve. While on the tour, leaders visited the Thunderbird Squadron and toured the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron that controls the Predators and much more.
